Day 113 - Wed, Apr 23, 2008 (blog 112 had todays date instead of yesterdays oops!)

Still have some shitty snow hanging around the ground but I am still managing to get my training in.

Run training - 20 min
Yoga - 30 min

I have felt being to detailed with my exercises because barely ever get time on the computer with my husband and daughter always hogging the computer.

Fitness Journal Day 112 Well it went from -22 degrees and a blizzard to +1 today and all the snow is melting.  Hopefully there won't be anymore unexpected snow in the middle of spring.

This week was so shitty I am just not in the mood but doing yoga makes me feel better and very relaxed.  I can't believe how much snow we got we didnt even get that much snow all winter.  It went up to my knee's.  I took a snow day and stayed home with the kids for one day so that was good.  I deserved it because I did 14.5 hours of overtime in the past 2 weeks helping out my boss to get things caught up.

Fitness Journal Day 30 This week has been really tough on my routine because of the major cold after freezing outside in -47 degree weather when I get home all I wanna do is try to get warm and I honestly don't feel like working out. This is one of the reasons why I don't like winter its hard to get motivated when its so damn cold outside. But then I think its just another obsticale I must over come and by golly I Will...lol. Yoga and a short walk and I kinda had to force my self to do it but afterward I was glad I did, it always makes me feel good after I workout.

Well its supposed to be looking up by next week and hopefully it does because I would like to continue with my training for running to 20 minutes. Then after that it would be nice to enter my first 5 k run.

Fitness Journal Day 27

Fitness Journal Day 27 Ok its was -35 degrees today with blowing snow and let me tell you I was not looking forward to my run today. But I bundled up and I ended up layering just a little too much because I got too hot. So now I know exactly what I have to wear next time its that cold outside for my run. I am so proud but I bet everyone driving by me today thought I was crazy for running in this weather but I don't care because as long as your dressed properly its not that bad. I used to be lazy in winter but after this I know I can do anything now. The picture that is my image is what it looked outside when I went for my run and I changed my profile picture to me outside soooo coldddd!

Afternoon

2 min running followed by 1 min running - 7 sets = 21 min

Fitness Journal Day 26

Fitness Journal Day 26 I was super busy. I didn't do much exercise but I am sure I still burned alot of calories because I didn't get much time to sit down today. I did Yoga when I got up and I cleaned and did laundry until 4 pm and cooked dinner. Then as soon as I finished dinner my girlfriend picked me up and I helped her do her grocery shopping for like 2 hours. Then I got home and I had 45 minutes to get ready for a stagette party and had some mommy time and then the bride to be got so wasted that the night ended early so I was home in bed by midnight...what a day!

I decided that Saturdays are going to be my rest day for my run training because Sunday is going to be my change day I will change my training schedual once a week.

Fitness Journal Day 25 Tempurature was -16 degrees today. My run was pretty good but I am impatiently waiting for spring to come I am so sick of winter...lol. Its supposed to super cold next week for the whole week -20 -25 degrees and if its windy even colder than that...eeee I don't know what I will do about running but I will try. Also starting Sunday I am going to up my running every week. I would have done it by now but I wanted at least a over a week practice at 1x1 first.

Fitness Journal Day 24

Fitness Journal Day 24 Another chilly day today. I had a good run today. The Yoga I did before bed last night totally help because I am not so sore today. My son did some Yoga positions with me too and wow three year olds are so flexible. I almost didn't want to do strength training tonight but I still did anyway because I knew I would feel good afterward and if I didn't want ruin my exercise routine. I started yoga last year but I haven't done it reguarily until this week, I have done yoga everyday so far for 4 days in a row...lol. I remember back when I did the video for the first time I struggled badly and barely made it through and now I am pretty good at it. I'm not advanced but better.

Fitness Journal Day 23 Well it was a chilly day, it was -15 degrees. I didn't wake up early enough to do Yoga so I did it before I went to bed which ended up being a good thing. I had a good sleep thats for sure. My run was hard today because my legs were pretty sore but I stuck through and did what I had to do. Once I stretched and ate my lunch I felt really good.

Fitness Journal Day 22 Today my daughter was sick and I had to stay home with her. So I kept myself busy today. I did laundry and cleaned my house which actually good exercise because after walking up and down from my basement to the second floor like 10 times I could feel it. I went grocery shopping, tanning and of course I exercised. A very productive day...lol.

Fitness Journal Day 21 I have actually planned a daily routine that just might workout. I was only -10 outside today so that was good for my lunch routine. I will be doing yoga every morning. I will be training at lunch everyday (as long as its not too cold outside) to get my body used to running 20 minutes as well as walking because I do have an hour lunch. And I will try and do strength training at night every second weekday for now and see how that works out and I am in the process of buying some mats for my basement because my husband wants to start training me in Juditsu. So we will see how that works out and hopefully I can start soon. My husband told me he is not going to go easy on me either he said he will train me just like he did when he first started so hopefully I can handle it and catch on to it.
