Motivation

That title says it all to me.  Whether it is about becoming a more fit individual, or any other aspect of my life, I have not achieved anything without finding the right motivation to push myself to achieve it. Granted, sometimes all the motivation in the world doesn't help, because sometimes a person has to wait for things to fall into place which are simply outside their control, and those are some of the most difficult to manage. Motivation for me for as far as getting fit goes is really about finding the right person or persons to work out with. For those of you who are like me, working out on our own feels more like a chore or homework from school rather than an enjoyable activity that is making us healthier and happier people. For those thinking that there are other ways to get motivated, believe me, I have tried, and I know what works for me and what doesn't. I have actually recently found two different people I might be able to workout with on a regular basis, now I just need a job to be able to afford it!! But that is the subject of a blog for another blog entirely! I hope you enjoyed this insight into my experience and for those in the same boat as me, take comfort you are not alone!

OldeButGoode A workout partner certainly helps to motivate, challenge, encourage and more. If you set some realistic goals you may find you can accomplish alot by yourself. Discipline (self control) is something we can ALL use more of - Good Luck !!

ToddLips Basically, when I can afford to. I am also waiting until I consult an expert on the best way to train given the situation with my back...
